Slowly slipping strike-slip faults leave measurable records in topography near the fault and in the upstream drainage network, even under conditions of extreme aridity.

Numerical models help test how climate variability and sediment cover influence river dynamics along synthetic strike-slip faults.
Long-term exhumation & mountain building
Low-temperature thermochronology reveal cooling, exhumation, pull-apart basin development, and landscape evolution over 150 millions of years in the Coastal Range of Northern Chile.
Effect of GIA in post-glacial landscapes
Can we couple GIA and LEM models to better understand how topography respond to the spatially and temporally variable uplift that follows deglaciation?
